We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and maintain data transformation models using dbt.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data loading and transformation.
- Write efficient SQL queries and perform data validation and troubleshooting.
- Develop scalable and reusable data models using dimensional modeling concepts.
- Implement data quality checks, testing, documentation, and monitoring using dbt.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, and data models for performance and cost.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business teams.
- Follow best practices for data security, governance, Git, and deployment.
Required Skills
- 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Good experience with dbt, including models, tests, snapshots, seeds, and incremental models.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Valuable understanding of ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Git/version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services.
- Knowledge of Python for data engineering/automation.
- Exposure to data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
