About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the Logistics / Supply Chain domain, with a preference for professionals who have worked in the Food industry. Candidates with relevant experience in the Tobacco industry will also be considered.

The SME will bring deep domain knowledge, practical industry experience, and the ability to provide expert guidance on logistics processes, operations, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Logistics and Supply Chain processes.
- Provide expert guidance on logistics business processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Analyze existing logistics processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into practical logistics solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and project teams.
- Provide insights related to transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics operations.
- Support process design, gap analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Review and validate business requirements, process flows, and proposed solutions.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend effective solutions based on industry best practices.
- Support project discussions, workshops, requirement gathering, and solution validation as required.
- Provide domain expertise during implementation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities where applicable.
- Act as a key point of contact for logistics-related business queries and decisions.

Required Skills & Experience





- 9 years of overall skilled experience, with strong experience in the Logistics domain.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Logistics / Supply Chain processes.
- Hands-on experience in areas such as:
- Transportation and distribution
- Warehousing
- Inventory management
- Order fulfillment
- Shipment management
- Inbound and outbound logistics
- Logistics operations and process optimization
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to independently analyze business requirements and provide expert recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in the following industries will be preferred:

- Food / Food & Beverage / Food Manufacturing – preferred
- Tobacco / Tobacco Products – considered
- FMCG / Consumer Goods
- Manufacturing
- Distribution / 3PL / Logistics Services

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
