About Capital Management Team

Capital Reporting is a highly specialized activity which resides under the FP&A; team. This team is the custodian of the very foundation on which the Banking business resides, which is Capital and Leverage. The Capital Reporting team is responsible for managing critical regulatory reporting, internal MIS, and capital planning activities. Recently,

there has been a significant expansion in scope driven by regulatory changes (issuance of new guidelines by RBI in quick succession between April and May 2026 with expectation of more changes in terms of overhaul of regulatory returns), increased audit coverage, and ongoing strategic initiatives.

About the Role and Key responsibilities

1. Business-as-Usual (BAU) Deliverables

- Monthly capital adequacy computation and reporting
- RWA deck preparation and RWA MIS
- ALCO data submission
- RWA Optimization and guidance to business teams on capital conservation
- Capital projections / budgeting (near-term, medium-term and long-term) and Capital Reviews
- Maintenance and periodic update of SOPs
- Multiple RBI regulatory submissions




- Audit co-ordination (Internal, External and Compliance Testing) and responses

1. Regulatory Changes (Credit Risk Standardized Approach Directions (effective from 1 April 2027))

- Interpretation with a lense of RWA Optimization and capital conservation
- System changes, identification of data attributes and work-around in case of data deficiencies
- Continuous business interactions for Credit Risk computation
- Multi-stage testing and parallel runs
- Changes in RCA3, XBRL and other returns
- Continuous co-ordination with Risk, IT, Business teams and external consultants

1. Other areas

- Enhancements to RAROC Calculator (Capital component) for use in loan profitability evaluations
- Evaluation of current product launches from a capital consumption and pricing perspective
- Capital projections in scenarios of infusions in subsidiaries, associates or purchase of stake / strategic

investments etc.
- Presentations to senior management
