Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Survey Engineer to conduct detailed site surveys for solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for collecting accurate site information, assessing feasibility, taking measurements, identifying technical requirements, and preparing survey reports for project design and execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
- Visit customer sites and assess the feasibility of solar PV system installation.
- Take accurate measurements of rooftops, structures, electrical rooms, and installation areas.
- Check roof condition, available shadow-free area, orientation, and tilt requirements.
- Identify suitable locations for solar panels, inverter, AC/DC DBs, cables, and other equipment.
- Assess existing electrical systems, including LT/HT panels, meter locations, cable routes, and earthing arrangements.
- Collect electrical load details and verify existing electrical infrastructure.
- Take photographs, measurements, and GPS/location details during site visits.
- Prepare detailed site survey reports with measurements, observations, and recommendations.
- Prepare or assist in preparing basic site layouts and drawings using AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with the design, sales, project, and installation teams regarding site requirements.




- Identify potential technical challenges and provide suitable solutions.
- Verify site conditions before installation and communicate any changes to the concerned team.
- Ensure all survey activities are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
- Follow company safety procedures during site visits.

Required Qualifications

- B.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electrical or related engineering field.
- 0–3 years of experience in site surveying, electrical projects, or solar projects preferred.
- Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to travel may apply.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical installations.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of measurements and basic electrical calculations.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites.
