Job Overview

- The Site Engineer will be responsible for executing civil and structural works at project sites related to metro rail, bridges and infrastructure projects
- The role involves supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors and ensuring that work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety norms
- The Site Engineer will act as the key link between the site team, engineering department and management

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and execute day-to-day site activities in accordance with approved drawings, BOQs and method statements.

- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and labour teams to ensure timely progress of work.

- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and statutory requirements at the site.

- Conduct site measurements, maintain measurement books (MBs) and prepare daily work progress reports.

- Coordinate with the design and planning teams for clarifications, revisions and approvals.





- Monitor material receipt, consumption and storage at site and report shortages or damages.

- Assist in preparation of billing, quantities and reconciliation statements.

- Attend site meetings with clients, consultants and project authorities and provide updates.

- Identify site-level issues and escalate to the Project Manager with proposed solutions.

- Ensure proper housekeeping and safety practices at site.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

- 2-6 years of experience in civil construction projects, preferably metro rail, bridge or infrastructure works.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge of civil works.

- Positive coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
