Job Summary

NJL Construction Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Site Engineer to manage and supervise day-to-day construction activities at our Church Project in Kollam. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper execution of works as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities.
- Execute civil, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing and other construction works as per drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret structural, architectural and service drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, skilled workers, site supervisors and project management team.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, reinforcement, shuttering and concrete works.
- Ensure quality of workmanship and proper use of materials.
- Monitor daily labour attendance and work progress.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Measure completed works and assist in quantity measurement, billing and BOQ verification.
- Coordinate material requirements and ensure materials are available at site.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely solutions.
- Ensure proper safety practices are followed at the project site.
- Monitor work progress against the project schedule and report delays.
- Maintain proper documentation,



photographs and records of site activities.
- Coordinate with the client/consultants whenever required.
- Ensure the project is executed according to NJL Construction's quality and safety standards.

Required Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant site experience preferred.
- Experience in building construction, church construction, renovation or structural works will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings, measurements and site execution.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and construction/ERP applications.
- Good communication and team-coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site activities.

Salary Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and capability.
