We are looking for a responsible and technically sound Site Engineer to supervise residential construction projects and ensure that construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, quality standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
- Monitor construction work according to approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, architects and other site teams.
- Check the quality of construction work and materials.
- Monitor work progress and maintain proper site records.
- Take measurements and assist with quantity estimation.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring and other construction activities.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with senior engineers.
- Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage.
- Follow safety practices and maintain discipline at the construction site.
- Provide regular updates on project progress.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in residential construction is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of RCC, PCC, foundation, brick/block masonry, plastering and finishing work.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and construction documentation.
- Candidates who can independently manage day-to-day site activities will be preferred.
