Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Manager / Lead – Plastic Product Development & Simulation to lead the design, development, validation, and optimization of rigid plastic packaging products such as bottles, caps, closures, containers, dispensing systems, and industrial packaging solutions.

The role is primarily a technical individual-contributor position, focused on plastic product design, structural analysis, CAD, simulation, and manufacturing process knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead plastic product design and development from concept through validation and production.
- Perform structural analysis, engineering calculations, failure analysis, and problem solving.
- Develop and review CAD models using SolidWorks, Creo/Pro-E, or CATIA.
- Apply DFM principles and ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing.
- Work with Injection Molding, Blow Molding, and Thermoforming processes.
- Use FEA/CAE for product validation, structural integrity, lightweighting, and failure analysis.
- Correlate simulation results with physical testing and recommend design improvements.
- Support product optimization, cost reduction, weight reduction, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and other cross-functional teams.




- Lead technical projects and provide engineering solutions for complex product issues.

Technical Requirements

Mandatory:

Strongly Preferred:

- FEA / CAE
- ANSYS / Abaqus

- Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

- CFD – ANSYS Fluent / STAR-CCM+
- Multibody Dynamics / Kinematics
- Minitab / Excel

- 8–13 years of relevant experience in plastic product design, development, structural analysis, simulation, or R&D.;

8–10 Years: Lead Engineer / Deputy General Manager 10–13 Years: Staff Engineer / Manager

Ideal Candidate

Plastic Product Design + Structural Analysis + CAD + Injection/Blow Molding + FEA experience, preferably from a packaging, plastics, FMCG, or consumer products background.
