Emagine India Inc. is a visual communications and spatial design company based in Bengaluru. We work across Environmental Graphic Design (EGD), signage, spatial design, wall graphics, experiential installations, wallpapers, and 3D installations, creating visual environments for corporate and commercial spaces.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Signage Design Intern who is interested in exploring the intersection of graphic design, branding, and spatial environments.

Role: Signage Design Intern

Location: Bengaluru

Employment Type: Internship

Duration (Flexible): 2-6 Months

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the design team in developing signage concepts and visual directions for corporate and commercial spaces.
- Research and create mood boards, inspiration boards, and visual references for signage projects.
- Assist in developing concepts for room signage, directional signage, wayfinding, hanging signage, restroom signage, and other environmental graphics.
- Explore typography, colour palettes, icons, patterns, layouts, and graphic elements suitable for spatial applications.
- Develop initial design concepts and translate them into basic visual mockups.
- Assist in applying designs to photographs or layouts to understand how signage will look in the actual environment.
- Support the team with design research, ideation, and presentation preparation.
- Work closely with senior designers to understand the design process from concept development to final execution.




- Maintain consistency of visual language across different signage applications within a project.

What We’re Looking For
- Students or recent graduates from Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest in Environmental Graphic Design, signage, spatial design, and branding.
- Positive understanding of composition, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to research and develop a strong visual concept.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Good sketching and ideation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to take feedback and develop ideas further.

Portfolio Candidates are encouraged to share a portfolio showcasing academic projects, personal projects, branding work, illustrations, graphic design, spatial projects, or any work that demonstrates their creativity and design thinking.
