About the Role

Maiz Hospitality Private Limited is looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and energetic Shift Manager to oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a team, maintaining operational standards, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the outlet in achieving sales and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage shift operations and ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the outlet.
- Supervise crew members, allocate duties, and ensure adequate manpower deployment.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Manage cash handling, billing, POS operations, and daily financial transactions.
- Monitor staff attendance, shift schedules, manpower requirements, OT, and leave.
- Ensure proper stock availability and support inventory control and stock management.
- Monitor wastage, product availability, and adherence to operational procedures.
- Support achievement of outlet sales, service, and operational targets.
- Train, guide, coach, and motivate team members to improve performance.
- Maintain staff discipline and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with the RGM/Unit Head regarding operational updates, challenges, and requirements.
- Complete daily opening and closing checklists accurately.
- Ensure all equipment, workstations, dining areas,



and back-of-house areas are maintained as per company standards.
- Support audits, inspections, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety regulations, and health & safety standards.

Candidate Profile

- 2-3 years of experience in restaurant, QSR, cafe, hospitality, or food-service operations.
- Experience in team handling, shift management, and customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good leadership and people-management abilities.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and operational challenges effectively.
- Basic knowledge of POS, billing, cash handling, inventory, and stock management.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong sense of ownership, discipline, and accountability.
