Role Description The Shoe Designer will be responsible for creating cutting-edge and functional footwear designs that align with Kaas brand standards and market needs. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune and involves developing design concepts, sketching and refining technical drawings, and collaborating with product development and manufacturing teams to bring designs to production.

Day-to-day tasks include researching trends, materials, and construction techniques; preparing mood boards and design presentations; and iterating designs based on feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.

The Shoe





Designer will work closely with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure collections meet customer expectations and brand positioning. The role also includes maintaining design documentation, ensuring feasibility for mass production, and supporting continuous improvement in design and comfort.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Product Design and Industrial Design skills, with a focus on footwear or fashion accessories.
- Candidate should be well equipped with 2D Shoe Master softwear Cad-Cam ,and also with hand made manual patterns

.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Drawing skills, including detailed sketches, CAD-based drawings, and specification sheets.
- Candidates should possess Product Development skills, including prototyping, fit trials, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.
- Understanding of leather types, footwear construction methods, and material selection for comfort and durability.
- Ability to translate market trends and customer insights into commercially viable designs.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Diploma or degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred; relevant experience in footwear design is highly valued.
