Shift Engineer – Production

Job Summary

We are looking for Shift Engineers to manage and supervise production activities during their respective shifts, ensuring achievement of production targets while maintaining process parameters, product quality, productivity, discipline, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise shift-wise production and achieve planned targets.
- Monitor process parameters, product quality, productivity, and safety.
- Ensure effective use of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Address process deviations, breakdowns, and production issues promptly.
- Maintain shop-floor discipline and compliance with procedures.
- Coordinate with Shift Engineers and support departments for smooth production.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, products, quality, and efficiency.
- Monitor departmental objectives, risks, and opportunities.
- Maintain required procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Support compliance with applicable ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001,



and ISO 45001 requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering.
- Experience in Production / Manufacturing / Process Operations preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing/factory setting will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of production planning, process control, quality, and productivity improvement.
- Knowledge of ISO preferred.
- Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage production activities and manpower effectively during shifts.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Experience 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred. Freshers with a suitable engineering qualification may also be considered.
