Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules.

- Work extensively on CMDB, including CI management, data quality, relationships, and CMDB health.

- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration mechanisms.

- Perform hands-on ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Glide APIs.

- Work on ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.

- Analyze and troubleshoot ServiceNow issues, integrations, workflows, scripts, and production incidents.

- Identify root causes and implement effective technical solutions.

- Develop and customize workflows, notifications, reports, and dashboards.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Perform testing, debugging, deployment, and post-production support.





- Follow ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience

- Strong hands-on experience with CMDB

- Good experience with ServiceNow integrations

- Robust JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting skills

- Hands-on experience with ITSM

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs

- Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture and platform capabilities

- Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Glide APIs

Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on ServiceNow professional who can independently handle development, integrations, CMDB activities, scripting, and troubleshooting rather than having only functional or support exposure.
