Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Technician to perform motorcycle servicing, diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring all work is completed according to Royal Enfield service standards and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of Royal Enfield motorcycles.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical problems accurately.
- Carry out engine, clutch, brake, suspension, transmission, and other system-related repairs.
- Perform periodic maintenance services as per recommended schedules.
- Inspect motorcycles and identify faults before and after service.
- Use appropriate tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems for troubleshooting.
- Follow Royal Enfield repair procedures, technical standards, and service guidelines.
- Ensure all repair and service work is completed correctly and within the committed time.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and FQI regarding vehicle concerns and repair status.
- Conduct necessary checks and test rides after completing repair work.
- Ensure proper use and care of workshop tools and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the workstation.
- Identify repeat complaints and report technical issues to the Workshop Supervisor / Service Manager.
- Ensure proper handling and care of customer motorcycles.
- Maintain accurate job-related records and follow workshop processes.
- Support junior and Helper Technicians by providing technical guidance when required.
Candidate Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in two-wheeler servicing and repairs preferred.
- Robust knowledge of motorcycle mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical/service instructions.
- Good knowledge of workshop tools and equipment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- Freshers with relevant ITI/Automobile qualification may also be considered.
