Role Description This is a full time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Bengaluru.

The Service

Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing fiber laser, CNC plasma, and oxy-fuel cutting machines at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and providing hands-on repairs to ensure machine uptime and performance. The role involves delivering technical support, documenting service activities, and training operators and maintenance teams on proper machine usage and basic troubleshooting.

The Service

Engineer will collaborate closely with the internal engineering and customer support teams,



maintain clear communication with customers, and travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues on industrial cutting equipment.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing support for machinery or automation systems.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly, prepare service reports, and interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote and on-site assistance, escalation handling, and coordination with engineering for complex issues.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills, including preventive maintenance, component replacement, calibration, and adherence to safety standards.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with CNC machinery, laser or plasma cutting systems, industrial automation, or metal fabrication equipment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and machine manuals; familiarity with basic PLC or CNC controls is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, work in industrial environments, and respond to service calls on short notice when required.
