Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Color Sorter and Grading Machines. Candidates with experience maintaining equipment that incorporates similar mechanical components are encouraged to apply, even if they have not worked specifically on sorting or grading machines.

Key Responsibilities

- Loading-Unloading, install, commission and perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime.

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently during customer visits.

- Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components including Pneumatic systems, elevators, bearings, gearboxes, conveyor belts, chains, sprockets, shafts, couplings, rollers, pulleys, and guide mechanisms, and other mechanical components of the machines.

- Perform machine alignment, lubrication, calibration, and mechanical adjustments.

- Coordinate with electrical and automation teams during troubleshooting and commissioning.

- Educate customers on machine operation, preventive maintenance, and best operating practices.

- Prepare service reports,



maintenance records, machine health reports, and customer visit documentation.

- Recommend and promote genuine spare parts and preventive maintenance services to customers.

- Maintain service tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.

- Respond promptly to customer breakdown calls and ensure timely issue resolution.

- Build robust customer relationships through professional service and technical support.

- Follow safety standards and company service procedures during all field activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

- Ability to read mechanical drawings and machine layouts.

- Good communication and customer handling skills.

- Ability to prepare service reports and maintenance documentation.

- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, email).

- Willingness to travel extensively across India for customer support.

- Valid driving licence is mandatory

- Willing to relocate in India.
