Location: New Delhi / Pan India Travel
Key Requirement:
We are looking for a technically robust Technical Service Engineer with hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, alignment, troubleshooting, and servicing of industrial machinery, preferably involving laser systems, optics, automation, CNC/motion systems, or related technologies.
The candidate should be comfortable working directly on machines and handling customer-site technical activities independently.
Key Technical Activities
- Machine installation and commissioning
- Laser alignment, focusing, and basic optical checks
- Machine calibration and functional verification
- Software installation and configuration
- Material and application trials
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Exhaust and fume extraction setup and troubleshooting
- Customer/operator training
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
Key Responsibilities: Machine Installation & Commissioning
- Independently install and commission equipment at customer sites.
- Perform machine unpacking, mechanical installation, electrical connections and initial system checks.
- Configure machine software, communication interfaces and required system parameters.
- Perform focusing, calibration and functional verification.
- Verify laser operation, safety interlocks, exhaust system and other machine safety features.
- Conduct complete installation acceptance tests before customer handover.
Service & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, electronic, optical, software, and machine-control issues.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective service activities.
- Identify root causes of machine failures and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with OEM technical teams for complex technical issues when required.
- Maintain service reports, installation records, and troubleshooting documentation.
Application & Customer Support
- Support customers during machine trials and application development.
- Conduct material/application trials and optimize basic process parameters.
- Provide operator and customer training on machine operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain professional communication and strong customer relationships.
Required Qualifications & Experience: Direct Hands-on Experience:
- 2-5 years of practical experience in installation, commissioning, servicing, alignment, maintenance, or repair of industrial machines.
- Experience working directly on machines at customer sites is highly preferred.
Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Laser/Optics Engineering (or equivalent hands-on industry track record).

- Basic machine software and troubleshooting
Travel & Customer Interaction
- Willingness to travel extensively across India for customer installations, commissioning, service, and application support.
- Comfortable working at industrial and research customer sites.
- Good professional communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with internal and international OEM technical teams.
