Job Summary

Autus Digital Agency is looking for a detail-oriented and performance-driven SEO Team Lead to join its digital marketing team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Content Optimization, along with the ability to improve organic rankings, website traffic, and lead generation.

The SEO Team Lead will be responsible for managing and mentoring the SEO team, ensuring timely project execution, maintaining quality standards, monitoring campaign performance, and collaborating with content, development, and marketing teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesKeyword Research & SEO Strategy

- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze competitor keywords, search results, and SERP behavior.
- Develop and guide keyword strategies across multiple client projects.
- Translate SEO data and insights into actionable optimization plans.

On-Page SEO & Content Optimization
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings (H1–H6), URLs, and internal linking.
- Improve content structure, readability, relevance, and search visibility.
- Optimize images, including alt text and file naming.
- Review SEO recommendations before implementation and ensure quality standards are maintained.

Technical SEO
- Conduct regular website audits to identify technical SEO issues.
- Monitor and support improvements related to website speed, crawlability, indexing, mobile-friendliness, and site architecture.
- Work closely with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Track technical issues through resolution and ensure timely implementation.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze SEO performance using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and relevant SEO tools.




- Prepare regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use performance data to refine SEO strategies.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor SEO Executives by providing technical guidance and support.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team progress.
- Ensure timely completion of SEO activities.
- Coordinate with content writers, developers, and marketing teams.
- Ensure SEO best practices are followed across projects.
- Manage SEO activities across multiple projects simultaneously.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
- Continuously improve SEO strategies based on performance data.
- Identify process improvements and recommend best practices to improve team efficiency and campaign performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant SEO experience.
- Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Content SEO.
- Strong knowledge of keyword research, keyword strategy, competitor analysis, and SERP behavior.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as:
- SEMrush or Ahrefs
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics (GA4)
- Screaming Frog
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to analyze SEO data and convert insights into actionable execution plans.
- Strong communication, documentation, reporting, and team coordination skills.
- Ability to mentor SEO team members and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
