Role Overview

We’re looking for a competent SEO / SMO Executive to own our organic search and social media presence end to end. You’ll manage on-page, off-page, and technical SEO to grow rankings across search engines and AI-powered search tools, while also planning and executing social media strategies that build brand visibility and engagement. You’ll work closely with the marketing, content, and development teams to make sure SEO and SMO efforts translate into measurable traffic, engagement, and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute SEO strategy, including keyword research, content strategy, on-page optimization, and link building to increase rankings across major search engines.
- Develop and implement SMO strategies to grow brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics, organic traffic, and social media performance against ROI and KPIs.
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization, and research competitor SEO and social strategies.
- Research and implement technical SEO recommendations, and work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are applied to newly built pages.
- Work with content and design teams to create and optimize landing pages, blog content, and social creative.
- Identify trends and insights from analytics, and adjust strategy and spend based on performance.
- Plan, execute, and measure A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages and campaigns.




- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, and internal linking to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and evolving best practices in SEO and SMO.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of proven experience in SEO, with hands-on SMO or social media management experience.
- Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Experience managing and growing brand presence on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Knowledge of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and keyword research.
- Solid analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

Good to Have

- Experience running paid campaigns on Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager to complement organic efforts.
- Awareness of generative and answer engine optimization (GEO/AEO), structuring content so it can be surfaced and cited by AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Experience with project tracking tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira for coordinating SEO tickets with developers.
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Prior experience in an IT services, SaaS, or technology company.

Eligibility

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant SEO and SMO experience.
- Available to work on-site in Gurugram, 5 days a week.
