About the role
MillD is building a new category — high-protein atta — and search is where we plant the flag. We're looking for a full-stack SEO Manager to own our organic growth end to end: content and keyword strategy that ranks and builds category demand, plus the technical SEO that keeps our site healthy and discoverable as it scales.
This is a build-and-own role, not a fix-and-leave one. Our technical audit is already done — you'll execute against it, keep the site healthy from there, and drive the content engine that turns organic search into a real acquisition channel.
What you'll own
- Organic strategy end to end — the full plan across content, on-page, and technical, owned by one person.
- Content & keyword strategy — rank blogs and category pages, and build demand in a space where high-protein-atta search barely exists yet. This is category creation, not harvesting existing volume.
- Technical SEO execution — implement and maintain site health, schema, internal linking, crawl and indexation. Own the structural issues behind why so few sessions reach a product page.
- On-page SEO — page structure, metadata, content optimisation, and search-driven improvements to key pages.
- AI / LLM visibility — position MillD to be cited and surfaced in AI search and answer engines, not just traditional results.
- Marketplace SEO — extend search thinking to on-platform listings (Amazon and quick-commerce search) in coordination with the Marketplace team.
- Measurement — own organic reporting: rankings, traffic, and — most importantly — traffic that converts, not vanity keyword positions.
What we're looking for
- 2–6 years in SEO with genuine full-stack ownership — you've run both content/on-page and technical, not one or the other.
- A track record of ranking content in a low-volume or emerging category — you've built demand, not just captured it.
- The ability to own technical execution: read an audit, ship the fixes, and keep a site healthy as it grows.
- Robust command of SEO tooling (e.g. GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, screaming-frog-type crawlers).
- A results mindset — you measure yourself on traffic and conversion, not rankings alone.
This is not the right role if you're a link-builder, a content strategist who hands the technical side to a developer, or a technical SEO who doesn't do content — this role owns the whole stack.
Nice to have
- Experience with SEO for a D2C or e-commerce brand.
- Food, health, or nutrition category exposure.
- Early experience with AI/LLM search optimisation.
- Familiarity with marketplace/listing SEO.
How success is measured Organic traffic growth; rankings for target category and brand terms; organic traffic that converts; site health and indexation. Specific targets are set in a 30/60/90 plan on joining.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
