Digital Matrix Innovations is a marketing and digital agency based in Jail Road, Tilak Nagar, Recent Delhi. We work with multiple brands across SEO, social media, performance marketing, website development, branding, and digital growth.

We are looking for an SEO Intern who has practical knowledge of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, keyword research, technical SEO basics, and SEO reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct keyword research for websites, blogs, landing pages, and product pages.
- Perform on-page SEO including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, image alt text, and content optimisation.
- Assist with off-page SEO activities such as backlink research, outreach, directory submissions, and link-building opportunities.
- Conduct basic website SEO audits and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, impressions, clicks, and other SEO metrics.
- Assist in competitor analysis and content-gap research.
- Optimise existing website content according to search intent and target keywords.
- Coordinate with content writers, developers, and marketing teams for SEO implementation.
- Assist with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation where required.
- Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
- Work on SEO requirements for multiple client websites in a marketing agency environment.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.
- Knowledge of keyword research, search intent, competitor analysis, and content optimisation.
- Basic understanding of Technical SEO, including indexing, crawling,



sitemap, robots.txt, canonical tags, and website speed.
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, or similar SEO tools.
- Basic understanding of backlink analysis and link building.
- Comfortable using Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms will be an advantage.
- Comfortable using ChatGPT and AI tools for research and SEO assistance, while still understanding proper SEO practices.

Experience Candidates should have approximately 6-12 months of practical SEO experience through internships, freelance projects, personal projects, or employment.

Candidates who have worked on live websites and can demonstrate improvements in rankings, organic traffic, impressions, or clicks will be preferred.

- Stipend: ₹8,000 - ₹10,000 per month

We are looking for someone who wants to understand why a website ranks, not someone who only knows how to submit backlinks. The candidate should be analytical, curious, comfortable with data, and willing to continuously learn as search algorithms and SEO practices evolve. Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
