Role Description The Senior Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dindigul, responsible for managing end-to-end travel planning and coordination for individual, group, and corporate clients. This role involves consulting with customers to understand their travel preferences, recommending suitable destinations and itineraries, and creating customized packages aligned with Grand Royal Tours’ standards.

The Senior Travel

Consultant will handle reservations, ticketing, hotel bookings, visa documentation support,



and travel insurance arrangements while ensuring accurate records in booking systems. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inquiries, providing pre- and post-travel support, coordinating with tour managers and suppliers, and resolving any travel-related issues promptly and professionally. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, mentoring junior team members, and supporting promotional and group departure activities as needed.

Qualifications

- Solid Travel Consulting and Travel Management skills, with the ability to design and oversee complex domestic and international itineraries.
- Hands-on experience handling Travel Arrangements and Reservations, including flights, hotels, transfers, and related documentation.
- Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and problem resolution in a travel services environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Tamil strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with GDS or travel booking platforms, and solid computer literacy (MS Office, email, online research).
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in travel consulting or tour operations, preferably in international outbound travel.
- Ability to work on-site in Dindigul, manage multiple bookings simultaneously, and maintain accuracy under time pressure.
- Relevant education in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field; professional travel certifications are an advantage.
