Senior Travel Consultant – International Tours

We are looking for an experienced travel professional to join CocoRoutes as an Senior Travel Consultant – International Tours. You will work alongside our experienced trip designers and operations team to create and manage customised international holiday packages.

Job Responsibilities

- Liaising with international travel partners, including Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, airlines, transport providers, guides and activity operators, to manage bookings and travel arrangements.
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries and creating customised international holiday packages based on their interests, preferences and budgets.
- Preparing detailed itineraries, quotations, costing sheets and travel proposals.
- Managing flight bookings, hotel reservations, transfers, sightseeing, activities, visas, travel insurance and other components of international tours.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal teams,



customers and external travel partners.
- Negotiating with hotels, DMCs, airlines and other suppliers to secure competitive rates and favourable terms.
- Managing international group departures, customised holidays and special-interest tours from the initial enquiry to the completion of the trip.
- Ensuring that all travel documents, vouchers, tickets, confirmations and passenger information are accurate and shared on time.
- Coordinating with customers regarding passports, visas, travel documentation and destination-specific requirements.
- Mentoring and coaching team members to improve individual and collective performance.
- Monitoring guests throughout their journey and coordinating with overseas partners to resolve any issues promptly.
- Following up with customers during and after their tours and collecting feedback about their travel experience.
- Promoting CocoRoutes at travel exhibitions, tourism events, seminars, networking meetings and other industry forums.
- Preparing daily and weekly status reports to update senior management on enquiries, bookings, operations and customer feedback.
- Ensuring that every customer recommendation and sales pitch is transparent, accurate, honest and ethical.

Desired Candidate Profile





- 3–12+ years of experience handling international holiday enquiries, tour operations or reservations in a leading travel company, tour operator or DMC.
- Hands-on experience in designing and operating customised international tour packages.
- Good knowledge of popular international destinations, flight routes, visas, hotels, transfers and sightseeing arrangements.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong experience in the travel, tourism or hospitality industry.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with travel booking platforms, airline reservation systems, CRM software or itinerary-building tools will be an advantage.
- Strong commitment to internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Proactive, self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries and bookings with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship-management abilities.
- Ability to handle customers calmly and professionally during urgent or unexpected travel situations.
- Must possess both operational expertise and the destination knowledge required to present suitable travel options to customers honestly and ethically.

Pay: ₹25,401.51 - ₹45,517.28 per month
