Job Purpose

Responsible for handling the complete tendering, estimation and pricing activities for EPC, BOQ and item-rate construction projects, ensuring accurate, competitive and commercially viable tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities

- Study and evaluate NIT, BOQ, drawings, specifications, GCC/SCC and tender conditions.
- Conduct technical and commercial analysis of tender documents.
- Verify BOQ quantities and prepare detailed quantity take-offs.
- Prepare item-wise rate analysis covering material, labour, equipment, subcontractor and other costs.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates including direct cost, indirect cost, overheads, contingency and profit.
- Collect and analyse vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements.
- Analyse market rates, historical project rates and current material/labour costs.
- Prepare tender rates, pricing summaries and final bid price.
- Identify tender risks, exclusions,



assumptions and commercial implications.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Finance and Project teams for tender preparation.
- Present tender estimates and pricing recommendations to Management for approval.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders.
- Maintain tender databases, rate libraries and historical costing records.
- Support post-tender negotiations and cost analysis.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EPC / BOQ Tendering & Estimation.
- Excellent knowledge of Rate Analysis, Cost Estimation & Tender Pricing.
- Strong MS Excel and costing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of construction materials, labour, equipment and subcontracting costs.
- Solid analytical, negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to work under tight tender deadlines.

Experience 12-24 years of relevant experience in Tendering, Estimation and Costing with EPC, Infrastructure, Real Estate or Construction companies. Experience in handling large-value EPC/BOQ tenders independently will be preferred.
