SUMMARY: The Senior System Analyst will be responsible for supporting critical software systems, integrations, and business processes. This individual will be expected to serve as a flexible technical resource capable of learning and supporting a variety of business applications, tools, data flows, and custom processes used across the company. The position may assist with established systems such as EDI, Oracle J.D.

Edwards, DSI Cloud Inventory, Loftware/NiceLabel, and StreamServe/Bottomline; however, the primary responsibility is not limited to any single platform. The role will focus on analyzing problems, developing practical technical solutions, automating manual processes, documenting support procedures, and improving the reliability and efficiency of systems supported by Technical Services. Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to apply them appropriately to improve documentation, troubleshooting, automation, support processes, and overall efficiency is preferred.

The individual will also have the ability to grow and learn other areas within the department to the extent there is capacity and desire, as continual learning is highly encouraged.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Apply critical thinking to review, evaluate, design, implement, and support processes and procedures that result in accurate, reliable, and efficient business system operations.

Serve as a flexible technical resource for business systems, integrations, reporting, data analysis, automation, and application support activities within Technical Services.

Support and learn existing systems and processes such as EDI, Oracle J.D. Edwards, DSI Cloud Inventory, Loftware/NiceLabel, StreamServe/Bottomline, and other business-critical applications as needed.

Work with customers, vendors, business users, and co-workers to analyze technical issues, gather requirements, test solutions, and implement system or process improvements.

Develop, maintain,



and troubleshoot scripts, database queries, interfaces, utilities, reports, and small applications used to support business operations.

Use SQL and other diagnostic tools to research data issues, validate process results, identify root causes, and support accurate business processing.

Assist with EDI-related support as needed, including researching transaction issues, supporting trading partner processes, assisting with maps or interfaces, and documenting related procedures.

Identify opportunities to use automation, scripting, workflow tools, reporting, and AI-assisted methods to reduce manual effort, improve documentation, increase accuracy, and create new efficiencies.

Possesses a general understanding and experience with web system architecture, software development, databases, integrations, and business applications.

Possesses strong ability to learn and use new systems, tools and techniques.

Possesses ability to work in a project team environment or on an individual basis.

Possesses ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.

Has ability to provide "on-call" support after hours.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn complex business systems quickly.

Ability to read/develop scripts in PERL, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to automate business processes.





General understanding of ERP, manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, labeling, document output, reporting, or integration concepts preferred.

Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL preferred.

Familiarity with AI tools and practical understanding of how to apply AI safely and appropriately to improve productivity, documentation, troubleshooting, process automation, or operational efficiency is preferred.

Experience with BizConnect, eVision, Oracle J.D. Edwards, DSI Cloud Inventory, Loftware/NiceLabel, StreamServe/Bottomline, EDI, PERL, or similar business systems a plus.

Self-motivated and attention to detail.

Ability to multi task.

Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university plus 3 years of relevant technical experience in business systems support, software development, database development, integrations, automation, EDI, ERP, warehouse systems, reporting, or related technical work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, skilled journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, technical documentation, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, logic, and data analysis.

REASONING ABILITY

- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, diagram, written, workflow, or data form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
