About the Role

Funscholar Innovations is looking for enthusiastic and technically inclined STEM Education Trainers to join our team in Kolkata.

The role involves visiting schools and conducting engaging, hands-on STEM learning sessions for school students. We are looking for candidates who can combine technical knowledge, strong communication skills and an interest in teaching .

We are hiring both fresh graduates and experienced professionals .

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct STEM, robotics, electronics and technology-based learning sessions for school students.
- Travel to different schools across Kolkata to conduct training sessions.
- Teach students through practical, activity-based and project-based learning.
- Work with technologies such as Arduino, electronics, robotics, drones and 3D printing .
- Demonstrate projects and explain technical concepts in a easy and engaging manner.
- Mentor students during hands-on projects and encourage creativity, innovation and problem-solving.
- Coordinate with school teachers and the internal team to ensure effective implementation of STEM programs.
- Occasionally travel outside Kolkata for workshops, school programs or other assignments.
- Represent Funscholar professionally while interacting with students, teachers and school management.

Who We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements

- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills .
- Comfortable teaching and interacting with school students.
- Genuine interest in STEM education, technology and hands-on learning .
- Basic or working knowledge of one or more of:
- Arduino / Microcontrollers
- Electronics
- Robotics
- Drones
- 3D Printing
- Basic Programming
- STEM/STEAM Education
- Willingness to travel regularly to schools across Kolkata.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.




- Candidates must be based in Kolkata or nearby regions and should be able to commute to schools across the city.

For Freshers Freshers must have already completed and passed their graduation/engineering degree.

Current final-year students, students awaiting graduation, or candidates who have not yet completed their college degree should NOT apply.

Candidates applying as freshers should clearly mention their degree, college/university and year of graduation in their CV.

For Experienced Candidates

Candidates with prior experience in STEM education, robotics training, school education, electronics, Arduino, robotics labs, maker spaces, technology training or similar roles are encouraged to apply.

Relevant hands-on technical knowledge combined with teaching/training experience will be an advantage.

Important

- This is not a desk-based role . Regular travel to schools is an integral part of the position.
- Candidates should be comfortable working with children and conducting classroom/workshop sessions.
- Candidates from engineering, technology, science or related educational backgrounds are preferred.
- Only candidates who can join immediately or at very short notice should apply.

Compensation ₹3,00,000 – ₹3,60,000 per annum

Compensation will depend on the candidate's technical knowledge, communication skills, relevant experience and ability to independently conduct STEM sessions .
