We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-performance, low-latency, and scalable software solutions. This is a fully hands-on role, where you will contribute directly to the codebase while supporting architects in shaping system designs and technical direction.

The focus is on system performance, asynchronous processing, and high-throughput application development, leveraging best-in-class technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure efficient and reliable software solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and optimise high-throughput, low-latency applications
- Develop and support asynchronous, multi-threaded, and event-driven architectures
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance across services
- Work with cloud-native technologies (AWS) and up-to-date DevOps/CI/CD practices




- Contribute to system design decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams in an Agile environment

Key Requirements:

- Strong backend development experience (Java/Spring Boot; Python or Node.js a plus)
- Proven experience building distributed, high-performance systems
- Solid understanding of asynchronous processing, messaging systems (Kinesis/Kafka), and event-driven design
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB) and performance optimisation
- Familiarity with monitoring, profiling, and debugging tools
- Track record of delivering reliable, scalable production systems
