​About the Role

​We are seeking a high-performing Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-throughput backend services and microservices that power enterprise applications.

​You will work with modern .NET core architectures, complex relational databases, cloud infrastructures on Azure, and security protocols. If you thrive on writing clean, maintainable code following best software engineering practices and architectural patterns, we’d love to speak with you.

​Key Responsibilities

​Architecture & Development: Architect, build, and deploy robust, scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core / .NET 8+.

​Database Engineering: Design and optimize schemas, write complex queries, and tune performance for relational databases including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

​Cloud Infrastructure: Leverage Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Service Bus/Event Grid) to deploy, host, and maintain resilient cloud application components.

​Security & Identity: Implement secure identity models, robust authentication, and fine-grained authorization strategies across services (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, mTLS, RBAC/ABAC).

​Software Quality: Apply SOLID principles, object-oriented programming (OOP), and software design patterns (e.g., CQRS, Repository, Factory, Adapter) to deliver maintainable, highly testable code.

​Integration & Security Standards: Configure secure communication pathways using mTLS, client certificates, and identity management frameworks.

​Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot, debug,



and optimize application performance, query execution times, and resource utilization across services.

​Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and collaborate closely with product managers, DevOps, and frontend engineers

​Requirements & Qualifications

​Core Experience

​3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in backend software engineering with C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.

​Technical Skills

​Frameworks & Languages: Advanced proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, and RESTful service design.

​Databases: Strong proficiency in relational database management, data modeling, and performance optimization using both MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Experience with ORMs like Entity Framework Core or Dapper.

​Cloud Platform: Experience deploying and managing cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure.

​Design & Principles: Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, enterprise design patterns, and clean architecture/domain-driven design principles.

​Security & Identity: Hands-on experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, identity provider integrations (e.g., Azure AD/Entra ID, IdentityServer, Auth0), and identity management protocols.

​Testing & Quality: Experience with automated testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Moq) and test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.

​Nice to Have

​Experience with message brokers/queues (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka).

​Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

​Exposure to Redis caching and NoSQL databases.
