Hirely is recruiting on behalf of one of our hiring partners for a remote Senior Software Engineer prospect supporting AI training and evaluation projects. You’ll use your software engineering expertise to build realistic environments that test and improve next-generation AI systems.
What You’ll Do:
- You’ll create reinforcement learning environments for complex software engineering tasks involving bug fixing, feature development, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization .
- You’ll build reproducible environments, deterministic verification, and golden reference solutions while working with MCP tools and real-world software systems.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Ideal candidates have strong experience with Python, Java, C++, Go, TypeScript, or Rust , along with deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, debugging, code refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Experience with large-scale or distributed codebases and AI/ML systems is a plus.
- Prior AI experience is not required.
Compensation & Commitment:
- $80-$120/hour
- Approximately 15 hours/week
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule
