About Position:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive quality engineering initiatives through robust automation frameworks, continuous testing practices, and DevOps integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in UI, API, backend testing, and test strategy development while mentoring teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Rest Assured.
- Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices using Cucumber or similar frameworks.
- Build and execute automation suites for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Define and own test strategies, test plans, test cases, and quality metrics.
- Perform functional, regression, API, backend, integration, and system testing.
- Drive shift-left testing and continuous testing practices across the development lifecycle.
- Conduct defect tracking, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Support build validation, release readiness assessments, and deployment verification.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, architects, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Provide quality insights, dashboards, reports,



and release recommendations.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and SDETs on automation best practices.
- Drive automation strategy, framework improvements, and testing innovations.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 9 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, and Software Testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Rest Assured.
- Experience with Postman and API testing methodologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
- Deep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in UI testing, API testing, database testing, and backend validation.
- Strong experience in regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong knowledge of Git, version control systems, Maven, and Gradle.
- Experience implementing shift-left testing and continuous testing strategies.
- Understanding of quality engineering best practices and automation design patterns.
- Experience with test framework design, maintenance, and scalability improvements.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in defect management, root-cause analysis, and quality reporting.




- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to mentor teams and drive automation excellence.
