About the role

Nabu Enterprises is hiring an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Senior SEO & AEO Specialist to lead organic growth for our B2C business.

This is a strictly on-site role based in our Pune office. The 1:30 PM–11:30 PM IST schedule enables close collaboration with our US-based team. The successful candidate will own SEO, local SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, structured data, and Answer Engine Optimization initiatives that increase qualified consumer traffic, leads, and revenue.

Key responsibilities

- Define and execute the B2C SEO and AEO strategy across websites, service pages, location pages, landing pages, blogs, and conversion funnels.
- Drive visibility across Google Search, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI-powered answer engines.
- Lead technical SEO audits and work with development teams to improve crawlability, indexing, redirects, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, mobile experience, page speed, and structured data.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, consumer-search-intent analysis, competitor analysis, backlink analysis, and content-gap research.
- Build and optimize content for high-intent B2C searches, local search results, featured snippets, AI-generated answers, and lead conversion.
- Develop AEO frameworks using direct answers, FAQs, topical authority, entity optimization, expert-led content, and citation-ready information.
- Implement and maintain schema markup, including Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Review, Article, and Breadcrumb schema.
- Lead local SEO initiatives, including Google Business Profile optimization, review strategy, citation management, location pages, and service-area visibility.
- Partner with US-based marketing, content, sales, design, and development teams during working-hour overlap.
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic, leads, conversions, backlinks,



local visibility, and answer-engine performance.
- Create dashboards and present actionable SEO/AEO insights, priorities, and results to leadership.
- Manage agencies, freelancers, content contributors, and other SEO partners where required.
- Stay ahead of search-algorithm updates, AI-search developments, and changes in consumer search behavior.

Required qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on SEO experience , including technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, local SEO, and performance reporting.
- Proven success delivering measurable B2C organic traffic, qualified leads, conversions, and revenue growth.
- Strong experience with AEO, AI Overviews, featured snippets, semantic search, entity SEO, generative-search optimization, and AI-answer visibility.
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush, Looker Studio, and schema-validation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical audits, large-scale optimization projects, website migrations, internal-linking strategies, and schema implementation.
- Strong local SEO experience, including Google Business Profile management, online reviews, citations, multi-location pages, and local ranking strategy.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and project-management skills.
- Ability to independently own strategy while working closely with international teams.

Preferred qualifications
- Experience in B2C industries such as energy, solar, home services, real estate, e-commerce, financial services, healthcare, or other high-consideration customer journeys.
- Experience managing SEO teams, agencies, writers,



or multi-market organic-growth programs.
- Familiarity with WordPress, CMS platforms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and website-performance optimization.

Work arrangement and statutory compliance
- This is a full-time, on-site role at Nabu Enterprises’ Pune office. Remote, hybrid, and work-from-home arrangements are not available.
- The standard shift is 1:30 PM–11:30 PM IST, Monday through Friday, including a one-hour meal/rest interval. Standard working time will be 45 hours per week.
- Working hours, weekly offs, rest intervals, overtime, leave, wages, statutory benefits, and workplace facilities will be administered in accordance with applicable Maharashtra and Indian labour laws.
- As the role includes work after 9:30 PM, Nabu Enterprises will provide all legally required safeguards for women employees working the night-shift portion, including consent, workplace safety, POSH compliance, and secure transport arrangements where applicable.
