Role Summary

We are seeking a certified Senior Scrum Master with strong hands-on Agile delivery experience, operating in a dual capacity as Scrum Master and Project Manager. The role combines servant-leadership of Agile teams (facilitation, coaching,

impediment removal) with direct accountability for project-level outcomes (scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder delivery commitments). The ideal candidate is proactive, delivery-focused, and comfortable operating across both

the facilitative and directive ends of project leadership.

Key Responsibilities — Scrum Master

- Own overall project scope, timeline, and budget for assigned engagement(s)

- Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocation, and delivery roadmaps

- Manage risks, dependencies, and escalations proactively,



including mitigation planning

- Report project status, financials, and delivery risk to senior stakeholders and leadership

- Manage client/stakeholder expectations, including scope changes and commercial impact

- Coordinate across multiple teams or workstreams where the engagement spans more than one Scrum team

- Drive on-time, high-quality, on-budget delivery aligned with business priorities

- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile teams

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum principles, driving continuous improvement and team maturity

- Proactively identify and remove impediments blocking team progress

- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized, well-groomed backlog

- Track and communicate Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, predictability)

- Collaborate with Developers, QA, DevOps, and business teams to optimize delivery flow end-to-end

- Act as a change agent, promoting Agile mindset across stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 8-10 years of experience in Agile delivery,



including significant time as a Scrum Master and demonstrated project/program management ownership

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM / SAFe SM or equivalent – mandatory); PMP or equivalent PM certification strongly preferred given the dual scope of this role

- Robust practical experience with Scrum, Agile frameworks, and iterative delivery

- Demonstrated ownership of project scope, budget, and timeline in prior roles — not facilitation alone

- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including senior/executive-level reporting, and resolve conflicts proactively

- Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, QA, product) and managing dependencies across teams

- Strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

- Hands-on experience with Agile and PM tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project)

- Strong understanding of Agile metrics, financial/delivery reporting, and risk management

- Proactive, self-driven, delivery-oriented mindset with comfort operating in both coaching and directive modes

- Experience working in pharma / regulated environment

Good to Have

- Experience in Scaled Agile environments (SAFe / LeSS / Nexus), particularly managing multiple Scrum teams under one program

- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud-based delivery models

- Experience working in onsite / client-facing roles, including commercial or contract accountability

- Coaching or mentoring experience for junior Scrum Masters or PMs
