Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration, installation, configuration, monitoring, and support. The ideal candidate should have expertise in maintaining SAP landscapes, performance tuning, system upgrades, patch management, and ensuring high availability of SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform SAP system installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance.
- Manage SAP NetWeaver, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, and SAP BusinessObjects environments.
- Execute SAP kernel upgrades, support pack implementations, and system refresh activities.
- Monitor SAP systems' performance and carry out performance tuning activities.
- Administer SAP transports and manage the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Perform client copies, system copies, database refreshes, and migration activities.
- Manage SAP users, roles, authorizations, and security compliance.
- Configure and maintain SAP High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
- Perform SAP system health checks and proactively address issues.
- Coordinate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Monitor background jobs, work processes, dumps, spool management, and system logs.
- Support SAP HANA database administration activities including backup and recovery.
- Ensure timely execution of SAP backups and restoration procedures.
- Troubleshoot SAP application, database, and OS-level issues.




- Participate in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and cloud transformation projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Required Skills:
- Strong experience in SAP Basis Administration (ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, S/4HANA).
- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
- Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Architecture.
- Experience in SAP system upgrade, patching, and migrations.
- Expertise in SAP Transport Management System (TMS).
- Knowledge of SAP security and user administration.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of database administration (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts.

Preferred Skills:
- SAP S/4HANA migration experience.
- SAP Cloud (RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, Azure, AWS) exposure.
- HANA system replication and performance optimization.
- Automation scripting using Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
- ITIL process knowledge.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- SAP Basis/HANA certification preferred.
