Qualification - Diploma in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH or other relevant safety certification preferred.

Experience - Minimum 8 years of relevant site HSE experience.Must have worked on Renewable Energy / EPC / Construction project sites. Strong hands-on experience in safety compliance, documentation, audits, training, and contractor management

Salary - Upto 9 LPA CTC

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Safety Supervisor with strong site-based HSE experience in Renewable Energy, EPC, or Construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, implementing HSE procedures, conducting site inspections and audits, delivering safety training, and effectively managing contractor safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Site HSE Management

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards across project sites.

Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, client, and project safety requirements.

Monitor high-risk activities and ensure necessary safety precautions are followed.

2. Safety Compliance & Documentation

Maintain HSE records, registers, reports, permits, checklists, and other required documentation.

Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.

Prepare and maintain documentation related to toolbox talks, safety meetings, inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.

Track closure of safety observations and non-conformities.

3. Audits & Inspections

Conduct routine HSE inspections and internal safety audits.

Support client, third-party, and statutory safety audits.

Identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor compliance with safety requirements at site.

4. Training & Safety Awareness

Conduct safety inductions for employees, workers, and contractors.





Deliver Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety briefings, and awareness programs.

Promote a strong safety culture and encourage proactive reporting of unsafe conditions.

Ensure workers are aware of site-specific hazards and control measures.

5. Contractor & Workforce Safety Management

Monitor contractor compliance with approved HSE plans and safety procedures.

Ensure contractors deploy trained personnel and use appropriate PPE.

Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve safety issues.

Stop unsafe work wherever there is an immediate risk to personnel or property.

- Incident Reporting & Investigation

Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions promptly.

Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HSE practices and safety compliance.

Experience in Renewable Energy, EPC, Construction, Solar, Wind, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Positive knowledge of site safety documentation and reporting.

Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Strong experience in safety training and Toolbox Talks.

Ability to manage and monitor contractor safety compliance.

Knowledge of PTW, PPE, Work at Height, Electrical Safety, Lifting Operations, and other high-risk activities.

Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
