Role Description The Senior Resident Critical Care role is a full-time, on-site position based at Fortis Healthcare in Noida. The individual in this role will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing monitoring in intensive care settings. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and infection control standards.

Resident will participate in clinical rounds, contribute to case discussions, maintain accurate medical records, and support quality improvement initiatives. The role may also involve mentoring junior residents, engaging in clinical audits, and collaborating with consultants to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in internal medicine or anesthesia with hands-on experience in critical care or intensive care units.
- Proficiency in managing life-support systems, ventilators, and advanced monitoring equipment, along with familiarity with emergency procedures.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating clear clinical communication and collaborative decision-making.
- Sound knowledge of evidence-based medicine, clinical protocols, and infection prevention practices relevant to critical care.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with appropriate residency or postgraduate training; additional certification or fellowship in critical care is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends, in a high-acuity hospital environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical medical practice, and ongoing professional development through training and continuing education.
