Position Overview Responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and maintaining vendor relationships to optimize costs and support operational efficiency within the manufacturing unit.

- Qualification: Any Graduation / M.Com / MBA in Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Experience: 5+ Years in Manufacturing or Related Industry
- Reporting To: Managing Director
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and production requirements.
- Manage procurement planning for paper and raw materials in accordance with monthly forecasts and production plans.
2. Vendor Management & Negotiation
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, price negotiation, reliability, and delivery capability.
- Establish and maintain robust vendor relationships to resolve lead-time issues and ensure on-time material delivery.
- Communicate and follow up with suppliers to secure materials within required operational timelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, quality)
to align procurement with daily operations.
3. Inventory Control & ERP Systems
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to eliminate stock-outs and minimize excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory turnover rates, lead times, and consumption patterns to forecast demand and adjust purchasing plans.
- Lead monthly stock-taking and physical inventory verification activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entries through the ERP system.
4. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Analyze procurement expenses (purchase prices, freight, inventory carrying costs) to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Explore alternative suppliers and sourcing channels to optimize procurement processes.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and report variance analysis to senior management.
5. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Partner with the quality control team for supplier evaluations, material inspections, and quality audits.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure overall supply chain compliance.
