⚙️ Pharmacy ERP | Inventory | Dispensing | Implementation | Client Delivery

Deep retail-pharmacy software expertise. Broader ownership.Script Assist is looking for an experienced pharmacy ERP / pharmacy software specialist who understands the operational systems required to run a complex pharmacy.

We are particularly interested in people who have worked hands-on with software used by:

- Retail pharmacies
- Pharmacy chains
- Medical stores
- Pharmacy distributors
- Online / omnichannel pharmacies
- Hospital or specialist pharmacies

Your background may be in:
- Product consulting
- ERP implementation
- Product support
- Application support
- Solution consulting
- Customer implementation
- Pharmacy-software product teams

What matters is that you genuinely understand how pharmacy software works in practice. You should be able to discuss inventory, batches, expiry, purchasing, dispensing, billing, stock movement, returns, reconciliation and pharmacy workflows with confidence.

You will work closely with our Director of Pharmacy and progressively take broader ownership across pharmacy systems, customers and product development.

? About Script AssistScript Assist is building the operating system for next-generation private healthcare in the UK.

Our software is used by clinics, pharmacies and healthcare operators and already supports tens of thousands of medical cannabis prescriptions every month.

The pharmacy platform supports complex workflows across:

- Prescription processing
- Pharmacist review
- Dispensing
- Product and medication data
- Inventory
- Batch and expiry
- Stock movement
- Order management
- Fulfilment
- Delivery
- Reconciliation
- Roles and permissions
- Reporting
- Integrations

The combination of pharmacy operations + inventory + software + client requirements is central to this role. ? The pharmacy-software backgrounds we wantWe are deliberately interested in people from the retail pharmacy ERP and pharmacy-management software market.

Relevant experience may come from platforms or businesses such as:

- GOFRUGAL
- MARG ERP
- C-Square
- eVitalRx
- Pharmacy ERP platforms
- Pharmacy POS systems
- Pharmacy Management Systems
- Multi-store pharmacy software
- Pharmacy billing systems
- Pharmacy inventory platforms
- Pharma distribution ERP
- Dispensing platforms
- Omnichannel pharmacy systems

These systems often involve exactly the kinds of operational complexity that matter to Script Assist: batch and expiry controls, inventory, purchasing, stock auditing, reordering, billing and multi-location pharmacy operations. ⚙️ Your pharmacy ERP expertiseYou should have substantial hands-on experience with pharmacy software.

Your experience may include

- Product configuration
- Pharmacy ERP setup
- Inventory configuration
- Product masters
- Medicine catalogues
- Batch management
- Expiry management
- Near-expiry stock
- Stock inward
- Stock outward
- Stock transfers
- Stock adjustments
- Physical stock audits
- Reorder rules
- Purchase orders
- Supplier management
- Purchase returns
- Sales returns
- Billing
- Barcode workflows
- Multi-store operations
- Warehouse workflows
- Pricing
- Discounts
- Accounting integrations
- Customer / patient records
- Online orders
- Reporting
- Reconciliation

We want someone who understands the operational logic underneath the software. ? What you will doYou will work closely with our Director of Pharmacy to help improve and operate the Script Assist pharmacy platform.

You will help us

- Understand pharmacy customer requirements
- Analyse pharmacy workflows
- Improve platform configuration
- Investigate operational problems

- Understand inventory discrepancies
- Understand stock and batch issues
- Improve dispensing and fulfilment workflows
- Translate pharmacy requirements for Product and Engineering
- Test proposed solutions
- Validate fixes
- Support implementations
- Support live customers
- Identify recurring workflow problems
- Improve the product as the pharmacy operation grows

You will not simply take a requirement and pass it to somebody else. You need enough pharmacy-system expertise to work out what is actually happening.

? How we want you to thinkWhen a pharmacy says something is wrong, you should naturally ask:

- Is the stock actually wrong, or is the transaction history wrong?
- Is the batch correct?
- Was the product received correctly?
- Was a stock movement missed?
- Was something dispensed twice?
- Is there an expiry or return issue?
- Is the workflow configured incorrectly?
- Is a user following the wrong process?
- Is an integration causing the discrepancy?
- Is this a genuine software defect?
- Can existing functionality solve the problem?
- Does Product actually need to build something?

We want someone who can reason through pharmacy operations using the system, rather than treating software as a black box. ? Inventory and stock expertiseInventory is particularly important to us.

Strong candidates may have worked deeply with:

- Batch-wise inventory
- Expiry-date tracking
- Stock reconciliation
- Physical stock checks
- Stock variance
- Purchase and receiving
- Supplier returns
- Customer returns
- Stock transfer
- Multi-location inventory
- Warehouse stock
- Replenishment
- Reorder levels
- Stock ageing
- Near-expiry stock
- Damaged stock
- Product catalogues
- Barcode-based stock processes

Indian pharmacy ERP products such as GOFRUGAL and MARG explicitly support batch/expiry and pharmacy-inventory workflows, making this a particularly relevant feeder market for the operational side of Script Assist pharmacy. ?️ Implementation and configurationYou may have been responsible for:
- Customer discovery
- Requirements gathering
- ERP configuration
- Data migration
- Product setup
- Inventory setup
- Workflow configuration
- Customer training
- Testing
- UAT
- Go-live
- Hypercare
- Production support
- Troubleshooting
- Change requests
- Product enhancements

Experience owning implementations for pharmacy customers would be particularly valuable. ? Client-facing responsibilityThis role will involve direct interaction with UK pharmacy customers.

You will

- Join and increasingly lead customer calls
- Understand customer workflows
- Ask detailed questions
- Explain how the system works
- Demonstrate functionality
- Manage requirements
- Challenge requests where appropriate
- Troubleshoot live problems
- Coordinate internal actions
- Give clear updates
- Manage expectations
- Help pharmacies improve how they use the platform

You do not need to have spent your career in account management. But you must have enough confidence and communication ability to represent Script Assist professionally with customers.

? Product & Engineering collaborationYou will work closely with:

- Director of Pharmacy
- Product
- Engineering
- QA
- Implementation
- Customer Support
- Pharmacy customers

You may help:
- Translate operational pharmacy problems into product requirements

- Define expected workflow behaviour
- Identify edge cases
- Review proposed solutions
- Support user stories and acceptance criteria
- Test functionality
- Validate fixes
- Prioritise improvements
- Investigate production issues

We want somebody who can bridge: pharmacy operations → software → customer → Product & Engineering

- Product Specialist
- Senior Product Specialist
- Solution Consultant
- Senior Solution Consultant
- Application Support Manager
- Product Support Lead
- Customer Implementation Lead
- Pharmacy Software Specialist
- ERP Functional Consultant

For example, GOFRUGAL profiles use titles including Senior Product Consultant, Product Consultant and implementation-oriented roles, so we are intentionally targeting those real career families rather than inventing another pharmacy-management title. Your title is less important than the depth of your pharmacy-software experience.

? The level we are looking forYou will typically have around 4–12 years of relevant experience.

A candidate with four or five years of outstanding pharmacy ERP experience can be more interesting than someone with ten years of generic ERP experience.

You may currently be

- A Senior Product Consultant

- An Implementation Lead
- A Product Specialist
- An Application Support Manager
- A Solution Consultant
- An emerging manager

- Solid pharmacy inventory knowledge
- Experience with batches and expiry

- Warehouse management
- Pharmacy integrations
- ERP implementation
- Customer implementation
- Product consulting
- Client training
- Production support

A B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD or pharmacist qualification is useful but not required where the pharmacy-software experience is strong. ? This role is probably not right for you if your experience is mainly

- Generic ERP outside pharmacy
- SAP finance or generic ERP consulting
- Pharmaceutical sales
- Pharmaceutical marketing
- Pharma manufacturing
- Pharmacovigilance
- Medical affairs
- Medical coding
- Generic business analysis
- Generic customer success
- Pharmacy operations without meaningful software experience
- Software development with no understanding of pharmacy operations

The core requirement is: Deep pharmacy ERP / inventory / dispensing software expertise + the ability to understand customers and work with Product & Engineering.
