Senior MEP & Electrical BIM EngineerAbout the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP & Electrical BIM Engineer to join our growing team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in BIM modelling, MEP coordination, electrical systems, construction documentation, and US commercial construction projects.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, reviewing, and delivering accurate BIM models and construction documentation while working closely with internal teams and project stakeholders.
Experience working on US Commercial Construction Projects is mandatory for this position.

Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
Project Experience: US Commercial Construction Projects – Mandatory
Work Week: 5 Days
Key Responsibilities1. MEP &
- Electrical BIM Modelling
- Develop and maintain detailed MEP and Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Model electrical systems including:
- Power distribution
- Lighting systems
- Low Voltage systems
- Electrical equipment
- Conduit and cable tray systems
- Support MEP modelling and coordination for commercial construction projects.
- Interpret design drawings, specifications, and construction documents and translate them accurately into BIM models.
- Maintain model accuracy, standards, naming conventions, and required levels of development.
2. BIM Coordination & • Clash Detection
- Perform multidisciplinary BIM coordination with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Electrical disciplines.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve model conflicts before construction.
- Participate in coordination meetings and communicate technical issues effectively.
- Coordinate design changes and ensure updates are accurately reflected in BIM models.

Documentation
- Prepare and develop detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and construction documentation.
- Produce accurate plans,
sections, elevations, schedules, and details from BIM models.
- Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
- Support the preparation and updating of as-built documentation where required.
4. US Project Standards & • Requirements
- Work on US Commercial Construction Projects and follow project-specific BIM requirements.
- Demonstrate a valuable understanding of applicable US electrical standards, codes, construction practices, and documentation requirements.
- Follow project BIM standards, workflows, templates, and client requirements.
- Review project documentation and identify discrepancies between design intent and BIM models.
5. Model & • Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality checks of BIM models and drawings.
- Ensure models meet project standards, accuracy requirements, and deliverable expectations.
- Review work produced by team members and provide technical guidance where required.
- Maintain consistency across models, drawings, and project documentation.
6. Team Collaboration & • Leadership
- Coordinate with BIM Engineers, Designers, Project Managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior BIM team members.
- Take ownership of assigned project deliverables and deadlines.
- Proactively identify project issues and contribute to effective solutions.
- Support the development and improvement of BIM workflows and processes.

- Experience with BIM/VDC workflows
- Experience reviewing and coordinating large-scale commercial projects
- Knowledge of project-specific BIM standards and requirements
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant MEP/Electrical BIM experience
- BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- US Commercial Project experience is mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Revit and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and construction documentation
- Ability to independently manage assigned project responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
- Self-driven, adaptable, responsible, and willing to take ownership
