We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanic with strong hands-on knowledge of construction equipment and machinery. The candidate should have experience in at least 2–3 large building projects and be capable of handling equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle maintenance, servicing and repair of construction equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain equipment such as generators, compressors, concrete mixers, pumps, batching equipment and other construction machinery.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Inspect machinery regularly and ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, repairs, spare parts and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with site engineers and operators regarding equipment requirements and breakdowns.
- Ensure availability of essential spare parts, tools and lubricants.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective actions when required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities follow safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate qualification.
- Experience in 2–3 large building projects preferred.
- Solid knowledge of construction equipment and machinery.
- Good troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
- Experience in Healthcare, Residential, Commercial or Industrial projects preferred.
- Ability to manage equipment maintenance independently and coordinate with site teams.
- Strong focus on equipment reliability, safety and minimum downtime.
