Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Solar Estimation, Tendering, Bidding & Documentation to independently manage end-to-end tendering, estimation, techno-commercial evaluation and bid documentation for solar EPC and energy storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Review NIT, RFP, RFQ, tender conditions, technical specifications, BOQs, drawings and contractual requirements.
- Independently manage the complete tender cycle from RFP/NIT review to final bid submission.
- Prepare BOQ/MTO, CAPEX estimates, EPC costing, cost sheets and competitive bid pricing.
- Handle costing for Rooftop, Ground-Mounted, Floating Solar PV and BESS / Solar + BESS projects.
- Prepare technical and commercial bids, compliance matrices, deviation statements and pre-qualification documents.
- Obtain, evaluate and negotiate vendor/subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison statements.
- Review commercial terms including payment terms, LDs, performance guarantees, warranties, taxes, insurance, retention and BG requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement and Management teams for bid approvals.
- Maintain tender databases, costing benchmarks, MIS, bid status and win/loss analysis.




- Identify commercial and contractual risks and support bid/no-bid and pricing strategy decisions.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10–15+ years of relevant experience in Solar EPC estimation, tendering and bidding.
- Strong hands-on experience in techno-commercial proposal preparation and large-scale solar EPC tenders.
- Excellent knowledge of BOQ/MTO, CAPEX estimation, costing and financial models.
- Strong understanding of Solar PV systems, electrical systems, equipment selection and EPC execution.
- Practical knowledge of BESS / Hybrid Solar + BESS projects is preferred.
- Robust vendor negotiation, commercial evaluation and contract review skills.
- Excellent MS Excel and costing/modeling skills.
- Knowledge of PVsyst, AutoCAD or estimation/tendering software will be an advantage.
- Strong documentation, analytical, communication and team coordination skills.

Preferred Project Exposure Candidates with experience across Rooftop Solar + Ground-Mounted Solar + Floating Solar + BESS will be strongly preferred.

RFP/NIT Review → Technical Analysis → BOQ → Vendor Quotations → Estimation → Costing → Commercial Evaluation → Management Approval → Final Bid Submission
