Role Description The Senior Manager Debt Recovery is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for leading and overseeing debt collection and recovery operations. This role involves managing portfolios of delinquent accounts, designing and implementing recovery strategies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational guidelines.

The Senior

Manager will supervise and mentor recovery teams, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to optimize recovery outcomes.



Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing account data, negotiating repayment plans, preparing reports for senior leadership, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in NPA management.

Qualifications

- Robust expertise in Debt Management and Debt Collection, including strategy design and portfolio oversight.
- Solid foundation in Finance, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit and risk exposure.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify trends, and develop targeted recovery approaches.
- Effective Communication skills for negotiation, stakeholder management, and clear reporting to leadership.
- Proven experience in debt recovery or asset reconstruction, preferably in banking, NBFC, or financial services.
- Demonstrated team leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to debt collection and NPAs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in credit or risk management are an advantage.
