Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mall Leasing qualified with 7–12 years of experience in retail leasing, preferably with a leading shopping mall, retail real estate company, or reputed developer.

The candidate will be responsible for driving leasing revenue, occupancy, tenant acquisition, tenant mix optimization, and commercial negotiations across the mall portfolio. The role requires strong relationships with national and international retail brands, F&B; operators, entertainment companies, and other key retail categories.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the mall leasing strategy to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
- Identify, approach, and acquire national and international brands across fashion, lifestyle, F&B;, beauty, electronics, entertainment, and other retail categories.
- Manage the complete leasing process from prospecting and site visits through negotiations, LOI, lease execution, fit-out, and store opening.
- Drive leasing of anchor stores, flagship stores, inline stores, kiosks, F&B; outlets, and other commercial spaces.
- Negotiate commercial terms including base rent, revenue share, minimum guarantee, CAM, security deposit, escalation, lock-in, fit-out period, and lease tenure.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with retail brands, corporate real estate teams, brokers, consultants, and business partners.
- Monitor market rentals, competitor malls, tenant movements, brand expansion plans, and emerging retail trends.




- Ensure an appropriate tenant mix and category-wise zoning to maximize mall footfall, customer experience, and revenue.
- Manage existing tenant relationships and drive lease renewals, expansions, relocations, and retention.
- Prepare and maintain a robust leasing pipeline and regularly track prospects, negotiations, closures, and expected revenue.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Operations, Projects, Marketing, and Facility Management teams for smooth tenant onboarding and store opening.
- Monitor lease expiries, vacancies, documentation, commercial commitments, and tenant compliance.
- Prepare periodic MIS, leasing reports, revenue projections, occupancy reports, and management presentations.
- Manage and develop relationships with property consultants and leasing brokers to generate quality leads.
- Participate in market visits, brand meetings, industry events, and competitor mall assessments.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives for rental optimization, mall positioning, revenue enhancement, and portfolio growth.

Candidate Profile
- 7–12 years of relevant experience in mall leasing / retail leasing / commercial real estate.
- Experience with a reputed shopping mall, retail developer, commercial real estate company, or large retail property preferred.
- Strong network with national and international retail brands, F&B; operators,



entertainment brands, and retailers.
- Proven experience in successfully closing retail leasing transactions.
- Strong understanding of retail real estate and mall leasing dynamics.
- Excellent commercial negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
- Strong knowledge of lease agreements, LOIs, commercial terms, rentals, revenue share, CAM, and tenant negotiations.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-management, and networking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple leasing negotiations simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate rental yields, revenue potential, tenant performance, and commercial proposals.
- Willingness to travel within NCR and other markets as required.

Education MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Real Estate, Business Management, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Experience

Candidates currently working with premium shopping malls, retail developers, commercial real estate companies, or established mall operators in NCR will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate: A commercially strong leasing professional with an established retail-brand network, proven transaction-closing ability, and a deep understanding of premium mall leasing and tenant-mix strategy.
