About Triomics

Triomics is building the agentic AI layer for oncology EHRs. Cancer hospitals spend billions on highly trained staff manually reading unstructured patient records such as pathology reports, clinical notes, genomic panels to power workflows like trial matching, registry curation, visit prep, and quality reporting. We replace that manual work with task-driven AI agents that sit inside the EMR and process records with >95% accuracy, at scale, in real time.

The role

As our Senior / Lead UX Designer, you'll own the design of products that care teams rely on every day. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with real room to lead — you'll drive design end-to-end for major product areas, set the direction for the experiences you own, and help shape how design is practiced across the company as we grow.

You'll work closely with product, engineering, and machine-learning teams, turning ambiguous problems into clear, well-crafted, shipped products.

What you'll do

- Lead end-to-end design for major product areas — from problem framing and research through interaction design, high-fidelity UI, and the shipped detail. Produce the full range of artifacts (flows, wireframes, prototypes, production-ready UI) needed to communicate and deliver the work.
- Champion user-centered design. Plan and run research, synthesize insights, and ground design decisions in real user needs and pain points.
- Set design direction. Define the vision for the experiences you own and help shape overall product-design strategy alongside product and engineering leadership.
- Own and grow the design system.



Expand our component libraries and patterns, and raise the craft bar across the team.
- Partner cross-functionally. Work closely with engineering, product, and ML from discovery through delivery — pressure-testing ideas early, handling edge cases, and making sure shipped features match the design intent.
- Iterate fast. Combine qualitative feedback and product analytics to spot trends and quickly improve the experience.
- Lead and mentor. Coach other designers, run critique, and help establish the rituals, standards, and processes of a growing design team. Contribute to hiring as we scale the design function.

What we're looking for

- 6+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio of shipped, high-quality digital products (web and/or mobile).
- Strong systems thinking and interaction design — you're comfortable with complex, workflow-heavy products, not just marketing surfaces.
- Excellent visual and interaction craft, and fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- A track record of owning outcomes end-to-end and driving clarity across product, engineering, and cross-functional partners.
- Design leadership: mentoring, running critique, setting direction, and elevating craft across a team.




- Clear communicator and strong writer — much of our thinking happens in writing.
- Bachelor's or Master's in design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

- Experience in healthcare, health-tech, or other regulated, high-stakes domains.
- Experience designing AI / LLM-powered products, especially human-in-the-loop review interfaces.
- Experience with data-dense, enterprise, or expert-user tools.
- Experience as an early or founding designer establishing design practice at a startup.
