– Senior Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer Saviynt

Role Overview The Senior IAM Engineer / Architect is responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and operational management of Kaplan’s Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform, with a primary focus on Saviynt.

This is a senior technical role requiring extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise scale IAM solutions across complex hybrid environments. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for IAM strategy, architecture, application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, access governance, and integration initiatives across cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and business-critical platforms.

The role will work closely with Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, HR, and business stakeholders to ensure IAM services are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

IAM design and Strategy

- Lead the design, and implementation of enterprise IAM and IGA solutions using Saviynt.
- Develop and maintain IAM roadmaps aligned with security, compliance, and business requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and governance across identity and access management initiatives.
- Act as the primary technical authority for Saviynt and identity governance solutions.

Saviynt Implementation

- Plan, lead, and execute application onboarding activities across complex enterprise environments.
- Design scalable integration solutions between Saviynt and enterprise applications.
- Lead integration design and implementation for:
- Salesforce
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- LDAP
- HR platforms

- Database platforms

- Develop onboarding frameworks and reusable integration patterns.
- Resolve complex integration and provisioning challenges.
- Lead technical workshops and design sessions with business and technology stakeholders.

Operational Ownership

- Oversee the operational performance and stability of the Saviynt platform.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex IAM incidents and integration issues.
- Perform version upgrades of Saviynt platform including associated regression testing and change management.
- Ensure operational support processes are documented and effective.
- Drive continuous improvement of IAM services and automation capabilities.
- Follow standards for code migration, deployment, source control, and environment management.
- Manage routine certification campaigns

Security, Risk and Compliance

- Ensure IAM solutions align with ISO 27001, SOX, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit activities and remediation programs.
- Lead access governance initiatives and certification programs.
- Ensure least-privilege principles are implemented consistently.
- Support privileged access management and identity security initiatives.

Documentation and Governance

- Develop and maintain design documents, standards, operating procedures, and integration guides.
- Maintain implementation documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
- Establish governance processes for application onboarding and access management.

Skills and Experience





Essential

- 8 -10 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Saviynt implementation and architecture experience.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale IAM programs.
- Extensive experience onboarding applications into Saviynt in complex enterprise environments.
- Robust experience with:

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline.
