Mobilab is building next-generation portable IVD diagnostic devices that make high-quality blood testing more accessible. We’re looking for a Senior HR Manager to own the people function end to end — talent, structure, culture, and compliance — as we scale across R&D;, manufacturing, and commercial teams.

What You’ll Do

• Talent Strategy & Hiring: Own workforce planning and hiring across engineering, manufacturing, R&D;, and sales.

• Organisation Design: Define roles, levels, reporting structures, and job architecture as the team scales.

• Performance & Rewards: Run appraisal cycles, design compensation bands, and administer ESOP and incentive plans.

• Learning & Capability: Build training plans, competence matrices, and career paths aligned with ISO 13485.

• Culture & Engagement: Drive engagement, internal communication, and retention in a fast-moving startup.

• HR Operations & Systems: Own payroll, HRMS, attendance, leave, employee records, and policy documentation.

• Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, gratuity, POSH, and labour law; handle audits and inspections.

• Admin Oversight: Oversee office administration, vendor contracts, and facilities via the admin team.

• AI-Enabled HR: Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to improve hiring, policy drafting, and HR analytics.

We’re Looking For





- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent, with 10 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience leading HR in a startup, medical device, or manufacturing setup
- Proven ownership of talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation design
- Robust command and hands on knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, POSH, gratuity)
- Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms, payroll, and HR analytics
- Proficiency in HR data analysis, HRIS tools, and use of metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Experience with compensation and benefits design, HR budgeting, and workforce planning.
- Track record of building HR processes and policies from the ground up
- Comfortable operating hands-on in a lean team while thinking at an organisational level
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
