About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager / Senior Functional Consultant to drive the functional evolution and customer adoption of our DPDP Compliance Automation Product Suite .

This is a hybrid Product + Functional Consulting role for someone who can move seamlessly between customers, compliance requirements, product strategy, and technology teams .

You will understand customer and regulatory requirements, translate them into scalable product capabilities, and drive functional design and implementation in collaboration with Product, Engineering, UX, QA, and Implementation teams.

What You’ll Do

? Product & Functional Ownership

- Translate the DPDP Act, 2023 and evolving privacy requirements into practical product capabilities.
- Own functional requirements, product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Identify product gaps and enhancements based on customer needs, regulatory changes, and market trends.
- Ensure customer requirements are converted into scalable and reusable product capabilities , rather than one-off customizations.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, UX, and QA teams through design, development, testing, and release.

? Customer Consulting & Implementation

- Lead customer workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, product walkthroughs, and solution discussions.
- Understand customer business processes, applications, data flows, and privacy/compliance requirements.
- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and functional solution design .
- Act as the key functional bridge between customers, Product, and Technology teams.
- Support end-to-end implementation covering configuration, integrations, UAT, go-live, and user enablement.




- Guide customers and internal teams on configuration vs. customization and product best practices.

? Solution & Product Design

- Prepare BRDs/FRDs, functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, and traceability matrices.
- Design workflows, business rules, roles, approvals, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
- Work with technical teams on API integrations, data migration, and enterprise deployment requirements .
- Support both SaaS/Cloud and On-Premise deployment models.

? Product Feedback & Continuous Improvement

- Convert customer feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual privacy and compliance processes.
- Track evolving privacy regulations and assess their impact on the product.
- Support product demos, PoCs, RFP/RFI responses, and customer presentations.
- Contribute to product documentation, training material, and release communications.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have:

- 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Functional Consulting, Business Analysis, or a similar enterprise software role.
- Proven experience in end-to-end implementation of enterprise software products , preferably GRC, compliance, cybersecurity, CRM, ERP, or configuration-heavy platforms.
- Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and functional solution design.
- Hands-on experience with BRDs/FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, and UAT documentation .
- Experience conducting customer workshops, product demonstrations,



and stakeholder discussions.
- Understanding of API integrations, data migration, and enterprise deployment cycles .
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer and product priorities.

Good to Have:

- Working knowledge of the DPDP Act, 2023 , privacy, and data protection.
- Experience with GRC, privacy, cybersecurity, or compliance automation products .
- Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2 , or similar frameworks.
- Experience with SaaS/Cloud and On-Premise products.
- Exposure to AI, workflow automation, or API-driven products.
- Privacy/security certifications such as CIPP/CIPT or ISO 27001 LA .
- Experience creating customer/product presentations using tools such as Canva.
