About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Strategy team and take ownership of core FP&A;, financial modelling, business analysis, and management reporting .

This is a hands-on role for someone who can go beyond preparing reports and actively help leadership understand what is happening in the business, why it is happening, and what should be done next .

You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across operations, supply chain, procurement, sales, commerce, and finance to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, improve margins, and support business decisions.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets and evolving business models.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis

- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A; cycles including budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial models covering revenue, costs, margins, working capital, cash flow, and profitability.
- Perform monthly budget vs. actual and forecast vs. actual variance analysis .
- Identify key financial and operational drivers behind business performance.
- Prepare management dashboards and financial reports for leadership.

1. Business & Commercial Analysis

- Analyse revenue, gross margin, contribution margin, operating expenses, and profitability across products, channels, customers, and markets.
- Support evaluation of new products, markets, suppliers, channels, and business initiatives.
- Build scenario models and sensitivity analyses for strategic decisions.
- Evaluate business cases and investment proposals, including expected ROI, payback, margin impact, and cash requirements.




- Identify opportunities to improve unit economics and operating margins .

1. FMCG, Supply Chain & Operations Finance

- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and improve financial efficiency.
- Analyse manufacturing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution economics.
- Support product-level and channel-level profitability analysis .
- Monitor inventory, working capital, procurement costs, wastage, and operational efficiency.
- Help establish financial KPIs that connect operational performance with financial outcomes.

1. Management Reporting & Insights

- Prepare concise and actionable financial presentations for senior management.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into explicit business insights.
- Develop KPI dashboards and recurring management reports.
- Track key metrics and highlight emerging risks, trends, and opportunities.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting.

1. Financial Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement

- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Work with accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely management reporting.
- Support statutory, internal, and external audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve finance processes.
- Strengthen financial controls, reporting structures, and data integrity as the business scales.

1. Strategic Finance & Capital Planning

- Support long-term financial planning and business strategy.
- Assist leadership with cash-flow planning and capital allocation decisions.
- Evaluate funding requirements and capital deployment scenarios.
- Support financial analysis for expansion, partnerships, investments, and strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A;, corporate finance, financial analysis, investment analysis, or a related finance role.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis .
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets , including advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial models, and data analysis.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or other BI/reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, and financial reporting .




- Working knowledge of IFRS/Ind AS/GAAP principles .
- Experience in FMCG, retail, D2C, e-commerce, manufacturing, supply chain, or technology-enabled businesses is preferred.
- Strong commercial understanding and ability to connect financial performance with operational drivers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, ownership, integrity, and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and data-rich environment .

Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline .
- CMA, CA, CFA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Candidates with strong practical FP&A; and financial modelling experience are encouraged to apply.
