We are looking for an experienced Senior Export Banking Executive with solid knowledge of Export Banking, Trade Finance, FEMA/RBI regulations, LC transactions, export documentation, foreign remittances and banking operations. The candidate should be capable of independently managing the complete export banking process from order/payment terms through shipment, document submission, bill negotiation/discounting, payment realization and closure of export transactions.

Role & responsibilities

Complete Export Banking Process

- Handle the complete export banking cycle from pre-shipment to post-shipment and payment realization.
- Coordinate with banks and monitor export bills, payments and outstanding transactions.
- Ensure timely closure of export transactions.

2. Letter of Credit (LC)

- Handle LC scrutiny, amendments, documentation, submission, negotiation/discounting and realization.
- Identify and resolve LC discrepancies with banks/customers.

3. Export Documentation

- Verify Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Insurance and bank documents.
- Ensure documents meet LC, customer and banking requirements.

4. FEMA / RBI Compliance

- Ensure compliance with FEMA, RBI regulations and export banking guidelines.
- Monitor export proceeds and pending regulatory requirements.

5. Bank Coordination

- Independently coordinate with banks for LCs,



export bills, remittances, realization and discrepancies.
- Resolve banking issues and ensure timely processing.

6. Forex & Remittances

- Handle foreign inward remittances, export payments and forex-related transactions.
- Coordinate with banks on exchange rates and forex documentation.

7. Export Bills & Payment Monitoring

- Track export bills from shipment to payment realization.
- Follow up on overdue payments and maintain realization records.

8. Reconciliation & MIS

- Reconcile export sales, bank credits and export bills.
- Prepare regular export banking MIS and outstanding reports.

9. Internal Coordination

- Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, Export Documentation, Logistics, CHA/Freight Forwarders and Management.
- Ensure smooth processing from order to payment realization.

10. Manager-Level Responsibility

- Take end-to-end ownership of export banking operations.
- Handle complex banking issues independently and guide junior team members.
- Ensure timely transactions, compliance and payment realization.

Preferred candidate profile The candidate must have end-to-end practical knowledge of export banking operations and should be capable of independently handling the complete export banking process at a Managerial level, with minimal supervision.
