Role Description The Senior Executive Purchase will manage end-to-end procurement activities for engine spare parts and related materials in a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities include vendor identification and evaluation, price negotiation, finalization of purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials in line with production schedules. The role involves maintaining and updating purchase records, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating closely with production, quality,



and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.

The Senior Executive

Purchase will analyze market trends, compare supplier performance, and support cost optimization while maintaining quality standards. This position also requires adherence to company policies, supporting audits and compliance, and building long-term, ethical vendor relationships.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in procurement and purchase management, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order processing.
- Strong skills in inventory management, basic supply chain operations, and coordination with production and logistics teams.
- Ability to analyze pricing, evaluate supplier performance, and prepare purchase-related reports using spreadsheets or ERP tools.
- Knowledge of components and materials used in automotive, agricultural, or industrial engine spare parts manufacturing.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Previous experience in a purchase or procurement role in manufacturing, preferably automotive or engineering, at a senior or executive level.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or materials management are an advantage.
