Role Description The Senior Executive Environment and Sustainability will oversee environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives across the manufacturing park. This full-time, on-site role based in Visakhapatnam includes monitoring environmental performance, managing waste and resource efficiency projects, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.

The individual will coordinate environmental audits, maintain documentation for statutory reporting, and work with operations teams to implement eco-efficient processes and technologies. They will support sustainability strategy development, track key performance indicators, and prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. The role also involves engaging with external agencies, supporting certifications,



and promoting awareness and training on environmental and sustainability practices among employees and partner organizations.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance frameworks, and sustainability standards applicable to industrial and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in environmental impact assessment, resource efficiency (water, energy), and waste management practices within large-scale facilities.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report environmental and sustainability data, including KPIs, dashboards, and statutory documentation.
- Skills in stakeholder coordination, including collaboration with operations, maintenance, safety teams, and external agencies or auditors.
- Proficiency in project management, with the capacity to drive environmental improvement initiatives from planning through implementation and review.
- Comfort with using office software and digital tools for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, ESG training) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in environment and sustainability roles within industrial parks, textiles, apparel, or large manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct training and awareness programs on environmental and sustainability topics.
- Demonstrated capacity to work on-site in a dynamic industrial setting and to adapt to evolving regulatory and organizational requirements.
